How to roll, save pools, and read the results.

Getting started

Pick a system from the sidebar, tap dice to add them to your pool, then roll. Tap a die already in the pool to remove one. Results and their symbols appear below the pool; every roll is added to your History.

Narrative dice symbols

Genesys and Star Wars Roleplaying. Success/Failure and Advantage/Threat cancel out pairwise across the whole pool; Triumph and Despair are rare bonus symbols that also count toward the tally.

  • Success

Cancels a Failure. Net positive = you succeed.

  • Failure

Cancels a Success. Net positive = you fail.

  • Advantage

Cancels a Threat. Minor positive complications on top of the result.

  • Threat

Cancels an Advantage. Minor negative complications on top of the result.

  • Triumph

Also counts as a Success. A rare, dramatic win.

  • Despair

Also counts as a Failure. A rare, dramatic setback.

  • Light Side

Force die: light-side pips (Star Wars only).

  • Dark Side

Force die: dark-side pips (Star Wars only).

X-Wing dice

Attack dice roll Hit, Crit, Focus, or blank; defense dice roll Evade, Focus, or blank. Each Evade cancels one Hit or Crit — damage getting through is Hits + Crits − Evades, floored at zero.

D&D 5E dice

Build a pool of any polyhedral dice plus a flat modifier. With Advantage or Disadvantage, roll two d20s — the check keeps the higher (Advantage) or lower (Disadvantage); the other is shown but not summed. A natural 20 or natural 1 on the kept d20 is flagged as a critical success or failure.

Saved pools & history

Save a pool you use often from the roller, then reload it anytime from Saved Pools. History keeps every past roll with basic stats — crit rate, luck index, and the split across systems.

Sync & data

Everything works fully signed out. Signing in syncs your saved pools, settings, and recent history across devices. Manage local data — export, import, or clear it — from Settings.
